Very light and soft padded handles for many hours of flying enjoyment. This is a new design with the unique hooked top on the handles puts the main power line in the normal spot between your index and forefinger without actually running the lines between them. No line between the fingers thus less risk of injury. They are sturdily built out of fiberglass and have foam padded grips. • ergonomically shaped handle for perfect grip position • better performance, especially for larger kites, because of improved leverage • easy replacement of leader lines • less friction on leader lines because of fiber-reinforced plastic material • light weight Another unique design detail are the brake line leads that slide through the handles to a stopper ball, allowing you to attach kite killer leashes (optional) behind the handles. The handles slide up the brake leads to the stopper ball when you let go. This also allows the leashes to be shorter. Brake leads are color coded for left and right. They do not have stake loops, but that is an easy add with some spare cord. On the back of the handle tops are leaders for attaching a strop (not included) for use with harnesses. The Specs.
