The Big Orange HQ Kite Stake
This stake is supplied with most all HQ kites. The orange knob on top makes it easy to see in the field or on the beach. The thick 8 1/2 inch long shaft is strong enough to hold down the biggest of kites. Each stake comes with a holster for storage.
What is a kite stake for? It is used to "stake down" the handles of your sport kite while setting up, breaking down, or making adjustments to your multi-line sport or traction kite. It will keep the handles in one spot, making setting up easier, and can keep your kite from self launching and becoming a hazard to you and others around you.
Tip: This stake is great, but I have found this stake is a little short for use in very soft sand. If you fly mostly in soft sand I recommend a longer stake.
