After the success of the Pepper II, the Hornet has a similar grunty feel, with improved stability and ground handling. Above this, quite a bit of time and effort was given to the profile shape. Because of the profile getting cleaner, the kite penetrates the wind window even further. This makes the Hornet easier to handle without loosing stability and therefore it is an excellent choice for entry-level to intermediate kite flyers. High quality materials The Hornet has been designed and manufactured with high quality Ripstop Nylon and has been reinforced in the leading edge and trailing edge so it can handle some hard crashes on the beach with ease. After many years of design experience, Peter Lynn uses special Nylon material for the profiles and for the Hornet the profiles are double stitched to the bottom skin to prevent the profiles from tearing and the bridle points from ripping out of the kite. The bridles are made of durable Dynacore material for endless hours of fun flying your kite!
User friendly User-friendliness is one of Peter Lynn’s main focus points in designing a kite, and therefore a lot of effort has gone into making the Hornet easy to set up and fly for less experienced kite flyers. Features such as the numbered lines (to ensure the correct attachment of the flying lines to the kite and handles), easy to recognize left and right handles and kite killers (so you have the correct handle in the correct hand when starting) ensure a trouble-free kite flying experience. The bridles are color coded so you can easily notice any tangles before attaching your flying lines. The stitched bridles and sleeves on the flying lines prevent tangles when using your kite. The full color instruction booklet clearly shows how to set up your kite and how to fly it.

Flying Characteristics - How it feels...
Easy Handling The Hornet responds very precise to your input but is still really forgiving in flight. The kite steers easy with simple 2-line control movements so you can control your kite right from the start and take your time to learn the basic 4-line flying skills.
Constant Power The Hornet delivers a very smooth constant power. You don’t need to steer the kite up and down to get power, the power builds up smoothly right after bringing it down into the wind window. So you can easily keep the kite flying at the edge of the wind and fully concentrate on your buggy or board.
Stability The Hornet is a very stable foil. The profile of the kite is designed for optimal stability, especially at the zenith and the edge of the wind window.
Constant flying speed The Hornet has a very predictable flying behavior and its flying- and turning speed are predictable and constant throughout the whole range of sizes. The kite does not accelerate all of a sudden, pull you out of your buggy, or off your board.

Low-medium variable aspect ratio…for easy handling and a constant feel throughout the whole range of kites. The bigger the kite, the higher the aspect ratio. This keeps the kite challenging but it still remains predictable in flight.
Specially designed profile…for smooth power and stability.Peter Lynn’s years of experience in foil kites ensure the perfect profile so the kite creates a strong pull over a large segment of the wind window, is incredibly stable and flies smooth.
Stitched bridles…to minimize drag and prevent bridle tangles.
Cross-vented profiles…to ensure the complete kite easily fills with air, improving stability, (re)launch and recovery.
D-ribbed center and shoulder section… (bigger sizes) to keep a smooth arch throughout the kite without adding extra bridles.

Reinforced LE and TE…for extra durability. The leading edge is reinforced with webbing preventing the leading edge from getting damaged. The extra reinforcement along the trailing edge ensures maximum durability.
Profiles are connected to lower skin with a double seam…to reinforce the bridle points and ensure the load being transferred from the bridle to the rest of the kite smoothly.
Numbered bridle loops, flying lines and handles…to ensure correct attachment of the flying lines and handles to the kite.
